Crossroads Inn 2 first Key Art

The initial key art created for the marketing purposes when announcing the planned production of the sequel to the media. This art was immensly time-consuming and extremely challenging at the time. The brief was to fit as many different fantasy characters without them being obviously recognizable and put them in a few different scenes.

If you look closely, the characters behind the counter look like they don't belong in this world... or do they?
